--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This pretty, perky actress' first break in films came on the set of "Into the Night" (1985) while visiting older sister and film's star
Michelle Pfeiffer. Director John Landis noticed Pfeiffer and gave her the small role of a hooker. Bits and supporting roles followed in a number of films, mostly forgettable, until she got a small role in one of her sister's big hits, "Frankie & Johnny" (1991). Pfeiffer then landed the lead opposite Miles O'Keeffe in "Shoot" (1992), another bomb, and then a bit in the Michael Douglas' violent odyessy through L.A. directed by Joel Schumacher, "Falling Down" (1993).

Pfeiffer has faired better on the small screen. She made her TV movie debut in "Toughlove" (CBS, 1995), a well-received fact-based drama about parents coping with rebellious teens. She had supporting roles in other TV movies, made guest appearances on episodes of "Dream On" (HBO, 1990), "Midnight Caller" (NBC, 1988), "Murder, She Wrote" (CBS, 1993) and "Seinfeld" (NBC, 1994) before being cast in the regular role of Rachel,
Cybill Shepherd's seemingly always pregnant oldest daughter in the comedy "Cybill" (CBS, 1995-97). Pfeiffer was cast as one of the leads in the midseason replacement series "For Your Love" (NBC, 1998; The WB, 1998-2002).
