Born in Memphis, TN, Justin Timberlake has spent most of his life in the spotlight. He performed (and lost) on Star Search when he was eleven and then went on to join Disney’s remake of The Mickey Mouse Club, where he met JC Chasez. In 1996, they, along with Chris Kirkpatrick, Lance Bass and Joey Fatone, formed *NSYNC, one of the most successful boy bands of the nineties.

Six years, several successful albums, and one high-profile relationship and breakup later, Justin took a hiatus from the group to record his solo effort, 2002’s Justified. The album was produced with the help of Timbaland and the Neptunes and draws heavy inspiration from Michael Jackson’s Off the Wall. It debuted at number one on Billboard’s album chart, thanks in part to the hit single, “Like I Love You.”
