Rachel Nichols, a Columbia University graduate with a double major in math and economics, made her first motion picture debut in the film, Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd. She also did some modeling for Guess?, Abercrombie & Fitch, L'Oreal, and Nicole Miller.

She hosted several MTV specials and got the first role she auditioned for, as the restaurant hostess on "Sex & the City".

She was ranked #28 (2003) in Maxim's 100 Sexiest Women.
