As one of Canada’s busiest actors, Emmanuelle Vaugier can be seen this season on 'CSI NY' as new detective Jennifer Angell. Last season, Emmanuelle had a recurring role on the CBS hit sitcom ‘Two and a Half Men’ as Mia, the beautiful and elegant ballet teacher who catches Charlie's (Charlie Sheen) eye.

Emmanuelle is considered one of Canada's most promising young performers. She is the voice and likeness of Nikki in Electronic Art's new adrenaline-filled street racing game 'Need for Speed Carbon'. And, in the upcoming feature film ‘Unearthed’, Emmanuelle plays Annie, the sheriff of a small, rural desert town. Written and directed by Matthew Leutwyler, Emmanuelle stars opposite Charlie Murphy and Tommy Dewey. She was also the new female superhero for the television adaptation of the comic ‘Painkiller Jane’ for the Sci Fi Channel, and more recently, she completed a starring role in the ‘Master of Horror’ series directed by John Carpenter.

Emmanuelle’s inner and outer beauty shines through as she is among the select group of women on Maxim’s 2006 Top 100 list. She is also named fifth on Femme Fatal magazine’s ‘50 Sexiest Women on the Planet’, and graces the covers of Dolce Vita, UMM, Western Living Condo and Infamous this fall.

The Vancouver native is known for her television appearances on ‘One Tree
Hill’, in the role of Lauren in ‘Call Me, The Rise and Fall of Heidi Fleiss’ for the USA Network and her portrayal of Dr. Helen Bryce, Lex Luthor’s wife, on the WB’s hit drama ‘Smallville’.

Her feature film credits include starring in ‘Saw II’, the number one box office hit released by Lion’s Gate. As well as New Line Cinema’s ‘Secondhand Lions’ as Princess Jasmine, the daughter of an Arabian sultan, opposite Michael Caine, Robert Duvall and Haley Joel Osment and in the film ‘40 Days and 40 Nights’, opposite Josh Hartnett. She recently wrapped a starring role in the feature ‘Hysteria’ produced by former L A Laker Rick Fox.

Emmanuelle was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, and grew up in a French-speaking household. She lives with her two miniature poodles Lily and Isabelle whom she flies between sets and residences in Los Angeles and Vancouver.
