Gosling joins Josh Brolin to take down mafia boss Penn, who runs all the illegal businesses in 1949’s Los Angeles just after the World War II.

Warner Bros. Pictures finally reveals a very first trailer for Ruben Fleischer’s star-studded mob drama “Gangster Squad“. The vintage-themed promo is loaded with brutal action scenes involving the likes of Ryan Gosling, Sean Penn, Josh Brolin and Nick Nolte. Also seen in the trailer is Emma Stone, who is pursued to bed by Gosling.

Set in 1949’s Los Angeles, “Gangster Squad” follows Penn’s Mickey Cohen, who is a ruthless, Brooklyn-born mob. He runs the show in the town, reaping the ill-gotten gains from the drugs, the guns, the prostitutes and every wire bet placed west of Chicago.

Cohen runs the dirty businesses with the protection of not only his own paid goons, but also the police and the politicians who are under his control. It’s enough to intimidate the bravest, street-hardened cop, except a secret crew of LAPD outsiders led by Sgt. John O’Mara (Brolin) and Jerry Wooters (Gosling), who come together to try to tear Cohen’s world apart.

Director Fleischer once discussed the basic premise of the based-on-true story movie. He told Entertainment Weekly, “It’s a good leaping -off point. We’ve taken some creative license but tried to stay true to the original story and characters as much as possible.”

The filmmaker explained the role of Gosling’s character in the movie as saying, “Ryan’s character also went to war, but when he came back, he was a little disillusioned. So he’s more on the fence, hanging out in nightclubs and hanging out with guys who might be gangsters.”

“He’s less clear on where he stands in terms of standing up against Mickey Cohen,” Fleischer continued. “But he finds himself in a love triangle with Cohen and Emma Stone‘s femme fatale character.”

“Gangster Squad” is also supported by Anthony Mackie, Giovanni Ribisi, Robert Patrick, Troy Garity and Michael Pena.

While the terrorist leader continues to spread terrors and creates damages in Gotham City, Wayne a.k.a Batman seems to be unprepared to defeat the supervillain.

After offering a day-long viral scavenger hunt campaign, Warner Bros. Pictures has finally unveiled the third and final trailer for “The Dark Knight Rises” in full. Boasting tons of new footage, the trailer offers a closer look at the chaos spread by Bane. At some points, the terrorist is featured exploding bridges and high-jacking an aircraft.

While Bane continues his brutal actions in Gotham City, Bruce Wayne a.k.a Batman is not in a good condition to fight back. Instead of picturing Wayne as a tough superhero, the trailer presents him more like a vulnerable man who is unprepared to face Bane’s massive attack.

Marking Christopher Nolan’s final chapter in his Caped Crusader trilogy, “The Dark Knight Rises” is set eight years after the events in “The Dark Knight”. Terrorist leader Bane arrives in Gotham City, pushing it and its police force to their limits, as well as forcing Batman to resurface after taking the fall for Harvey Dent’s crimes.

The highly anticipated movie will make its way out onto the U.S. cinemas this summer on July 20. Returning as Wayne a.k.a Batman is Christian Bale, while Tom Hardy stars as Bane. Also supporting the DC Comics film are Anne Hathaway, Marion Cotillard, Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

The trailer sees Gordon-Levitt working as a cross-era assassin, who is suddenly tasked to kill the older version of himself, portrayed by Willis.

Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s time travel thriller “Looper” has premiered its very first trailer. The promo video gives a look at the dualistic setting that takes place in the past and in the future. Gordon-Levitt’s character is seen working as an assassin for a company called the Looper. Trouble comes as he has to confront and kill his older self, who is played by Willis.

The movie itself is set in a near future where time travel doesn’t exist but will be invented in a few decades. It follows a group of assassins, who work for a crime syndicate in the future. Their bosses send the targets hogtied and blindfolded back in time to those killers, and their job is to simply shoot the victims in the head and dispose of the body. So, the target vanishes from the future and the assassin dispose of a corpse that doesn’t technically exist.

Also starring Emily Blunt, Paul Dano and Jeff Daniels, “Looper” is due to arrive in the U.S. cinemas on September 28. Serving as the writer and director is Rian Johnson, who also teamed up with Gordon-Levitt in 2005’s “Brick”.

Johnson has previously said that the forthcoming movie will have “lots of action.” He added that the film will present a heavy plot as saying, “It also has this premise that you can dig into a little bit and it hopefully makes you think.”

In the fresh ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ sneak peek, Stewart’s lead character is seen showing off more of her fighting skills as she runs to the woods to get away from Charlize Theron’s Evil Queen.

The new trailer for “Snow White and the Huntsman” has arrived. Being narrated by Charlize Theron‘s Queen Ravenna, the trailer is stuffed with plenty of fresh footage that expose stunning visual effects. Also in the sneak peek, Kristen Stewart‘s Snow White is seen showing off more of her fighting skills in addition to letting out her inner lovely princess as she meets magical creatures in the woods.

In the upcoming twisted fairy tale movie, Stewart portrays a warrioress version of the fair-skinned princess. While the Grimm story presents Snow White as a lovely-singing princess, this movie features the female royal as a tough woman. Having the ability to fight and defend herself, she battles the beauty obsessed Evil Queen under the guidance of the Huntsman, who was originally hired to kill her.

Working as the helmer for “Snow White and the Huntsman” is Rupert Sanders with scribe trio Hossein Amini, Evan Spiliotopoulos and Evan Daugherty providing the script. Joining Stewart and Theron in the casting department are Chris Hemsworth as the titular Huntsman, Sam Claflin as Prince William, as well as Noah Huntley and Liberty Ross as Snow White’s parents.

Universal Pictures has set June 1 as the day when the retelling pic opens in theaters across the U.S.

Additionally, 20th Century Fox debuts a new viral video for the space thriller that highlights the making of Michael Fassbender’s android character in the Weyland Industries.

A brand new full trailer for Ridley Scott’s “Prometheus” has been debuted. The sneak peek that unveils tons of never-before-seen intense footage was introduced on Sunday, March 28 during a panel at the 2012 WonderCon in Anaheim, California, where Scott along with Charlize Theron and Michael Fassbender, as well as scribe Damon Lindelof were all on hand for a Q&A session.

The trailer itself presents a better idea at the plot of this sci-fi thriller. It follows the Prometheus spaceship as it first lands on a strange planet after a group of scientists discovered a pictogram at an ancient site. Also featured in the new sneak peek is a quick glimpse at the Space Jockey from Scott’s 1979 “Alien”.

Despite the fact that the fresh trailer is jam-packed with creepy scenes, Scott insisted that the movie is not related to horror genre. “The bottom line is just to make a good movie,” he said during the panel. “Just make a f****ing good movie. It’s got nothing to do with horror or whatever. That’s why there’s only a few really, really great ones. Thereafter, there are only evolutions of copycats.”

Aside from the trailer, 20th Century Fox has also unleashed a fresh viral video. Made in the form of a faux advertisement, it gives a look at Fassbender’s character, David, who happens to be an android created by the Weyland Industries. It brings up the slogan that says, “Big things have small beginnings.”

Asked about his approach in playing an android with no emotion, Fassbender explained, “You want to play with as many of those human traits as possible. You’re essentially trying to build a computer that has a physicality to it, that can respond and understand human behavior. It’s programmed to be able to incorporate itself within a human environment.”

“So, what happens when you program that and the program then starts making its own connections and joins up to its own electrical linking to other areas and forming its own ego, insecurities, jealousy and envy? I don’t really think too much about things,” the actor continued. “I just try to explore what’s happening within the scene, moment to moment.”

In “Prometheus”, Scott creates a groundbreaking mythology in which a group of explorers find a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth. The discovery lead them to a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe, where they embark on a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.

Joining Theron and Fassbender in the cast ensemble are Logan Marshall-Green, Noomi Rapace, Ben Foster, Idris Elba and Guy Pearce. This highly anticipated sci-fi movie is set to arrive in the U.S. theaters on June 8.
