The humanoid robot created at the Weyland Industries is featured showing off his skills and proving that he could also feel human emotion.

Michael Fassbender‘s android David is highlighted in a new viral video for Ridley Scott’s “Prometheus”. Coming out via Mashable, the faux advertisement highlights David as a robot which can also feel human emotion. At one point, he is seen crying with no expression as saying, “I understand human emotions although i do not feel them myself.”

David was created by the Weyland Industries, which is founded by Peter (Guy Pearce). The video itself was made to celebrate the blue-eyed android’s birthday. At the end of the video, the humanoid robot expresses his gratitude for those who created him.

Fassbender once explained his approach when bringing David to life. He said, “You want to play with as many of those human traits as possible. You’re essentially trying to build a computer that has a physicality to it, that can respond and understand human behavior. It’s programmed to be able to incorporate itself within a human environment.”

“So, what happens when you program that and the program then starts making its own connection and joins up to its own electrical linking to other areas and forming its own ego, insecurities, jealousy and envy? I don’t really thing too much about things,” said the actor. “I just try to explore what’s happening within the scene, moment to moment.”

In “Prometheus”, Scott creates a groundbreaking mythology in which a group of explorers find a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth. The discovery leads them to a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe, where they embark on a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.

Joining Fassbender and Pearce in the cast ensemble are Charlize Theron, Logan Marshall-Green, Noomi Rapace, Ben Foster and Idris Elba. This highly anticipated sci-fi movie is set to arrive in the U.S. theaters on June 8.

The trailer sees Gordon-Levitt working as a cross-era assassin, who is suddenly tasked to kill the older version of himself, portrayed by Willis.

Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s time travel thriller “Looper” has premiered its very first trailer. The promo video gives a look at the dualistic setting that takes place in the past and in the future. Gordon-Levitt’s character is seen working as an assassin for a company called the Looper. Trouble comes as he has to confront and kill his older self, who is played by Willis.

The movie itself is set in a near future where time travel doesn’t exist but will be invented in a few decades. It follows a group of assassins, who work for a crime syndicate in the future. Their bosses send the targets hogtied and blindfolded back in time to those killers, and their job is to simply shoot the victims in the head and dispose of the body. So, the target vanishes from the future and the assassin dispose of a corpse that doesn’t technically exist.

Also starring Emily Blunt, Paul Dano and Jeff Daniels, “Looper” is due to arrive in the U.S. cinemas on September 28. Serving as the writer and director is Rian Johnson, who also teamed up with Gordon-Levitt in 2005′s “Brick”.

Johnson has previously said that the forthcoming movie will have “lots of action.” He added that the film will present a heavy plot as saying, “It also has this premise that you can dig into a little bit and it hopefully makes you think.”

In the fresh ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ sneak peek, Stewart’s lead character is seen showing off more of her fighting skills as she runs to the woods to get away from Charlize Theron’s Evil Queen.

The new trailer for “Snow White and the Huntsman” has arrived. Being narrated by Charlize Theron‘s Queen Ravenna, the trailer is stuffed with plenty of fresh footage that expose stunning visual effects. Also in the sneak peek, Kristen Stewart‘s Snow White is seen showing off more of her fighting skills in addition to letting out her inner lovely princess as she meets magical creatures in the woods.

In the upcoming twisted fairy tale movie, Stewart portrays a warrioress version of the fair-skinned princess. While the Grimm story presents Snow White as a lovely-singing princess, this movie features the female royal as a tough woman. Having the ability to fight and defend herself, she battles the beauty obsessed Evil Queen under the guidance of the Huntsman, who was originally hired to kill her.

Working as the helmer for “Snow White and the Huntsman” is Rupert Sanders with scribe trio Hossein Amini, Evan Spiliotopoulos and Evan Daugherty providing the script. Joining Stewart and Theron in the casting department are Chris Hemsworth as the titular Huntsman, Sam Claflin as Prince William, as well as Noah Huntley and Liberty Ross as Snow White’s parents.

Universal Pictures has set June 1 as the day when the retelling pic opens in theaters across the U.S.
